changing speed of sample(timestretch) without changing pitch with groove?

Hi,

is groove a good tool to manipulate some samples of 5-10 seconds (timestretching/ changing speed without pitch...) in realtime ?

any tips?

Best,
hgh

[gizmo~] (for realtime pitch correction) and [groove~] for the time-factor can do this together.

hi,

thank you very much!!!

i´ve experimentetd with groove a lot: changing speed-factor changes pitch too... So [gizmo~]will correct these pitching?

is there an tutorial for that or do you have an short example how toconnect?

exactly, you correct the change in pitch via [gizmo~]. i think it´s fun to develop the details by yourself ;) i promise it works.

I would (also) suggest taking Timo's Diracle implementation which works pretty well...

[!/ 1.] sig~ / gizmo~ values

2 --> 0.5 (twice as fast, pitch-shifted down an octave)

0.5 --> 2.0 (half-speed, pitch-shifted up an octave)

should keep original pitch, gizmo~ parameters will affect the quality.
