clear max window from patch?

    hi,
i saw a post last month about this, but it quickly digressed.
is there a way? i mean, i can end an email, or even delete my entire home folder using a command line interpreter, so surely there must be something to clear the max window??
    thanks

      hi,
      i'm pretty sure you can't.
i've seen an external that clean the max window by posting a lot of blank lines. but i think it's not really what you want...

it could be done using osculator... but i think it's easier to click...
send osc messages from max to osculator that triggers the keyboard shortcut chain (+M, +A, +X) in max/msp.
but it's like killing a fly with a dozer.

It can be done without OSCulator using a series of keystrokes:
      +M, +A, +X, +`
And focus should return to the patcher you started with. And it spells out MAX, so that's kind of a bonus.
If you want to preserve clipboard contents:
      +M, +A, [delete], +`
