Clicking Ubumenu in Pluggo crashes Host ..

    I replaced the umenu's in my pluggo with ubumenus only to find that whenever I click on one of them in the pluggo-plug interface (both AU and VST) Live and AUlab both crash rightaway. Crash meaning: App disappears and OSX tells me that it just crashed (unlike freezing or such ..)
    It's not that the ubumenus trigger something in another part of the pluggo which causes the crash. To verify this, just open a pluggodev tutorial patch which has its own interface, put a ubumenu somewhere, give it "1,2,3" as texts, dont connect it to anything and make it a pluggo. load up that pluggo, click the ubumenu = crash. That's what happens here at least.
    Any suggestions? (Except for not using ubumenus ;)

      Your remark made me search the forum a little more thoroughly and i found a thread discussing the same problem. So it seems to be a no-go, this is really disappointing. I had checked the pluggo dev guide to make sure ubumenu was not problem. I think this info doesnt only belong into a sticky but into the documentation.
      are there plans to make ubumenu usable in pluggos at some point?

      Let me reformulate, ubumenu is not a menu it's a window (without any titlebar nor grow...). A VST plugin can't open any other window, so... use umenu will solve your problem, ubumenu will always be a problem until plugin allows you to open multiple windows.
