The word goto, followed by a number or a symbol, sets a pointer at the address specified by the number or symbol. If no such address exists, the pointer is set at the beginning of the collection.

This if from the reference of coll. Unless I got something wrong, the second seems not to be the case. See the patch below. (5.0.5 / 10.5.6)
