Communal multi-effects patch

Hi folks,

I'm starting to putting together a large multi-effects audio patch, a kind of DSP scratch-pad for quick experimentation that will include a multi-channel output section with a lot of very novel spatializatiion effects. I have as yet to determine the exact architecture of the patch and am curious as to how others have approached this. I can also imagine that others have some pretty cool effects I haven't thought of or implemented, such as spectral delays.

If you wouldn't mind sharing, I would love for people to send me their effects/multi-effects patches so that I can include them in this master patch. I would of course give credit where credit is due and send you back the completed patch when I'm through. This would be completely non-commercial.

Please send me what you can to ckeyes@hkbu.edu.hk.
When we're done hopefully we'll have something we can all learn from and an efficient tool for our future works evolving DSP.

Thanks in advance,

Christopher Keyes

You might want to have a look at Leafcutter John's Framework - see this
thread: http://tinyurl.com/ytglhb
Something I'm fond of doing is using matrix~/matrixctrl to make multi-fx,
um, matrices. This was my modest contribution to Framework, and you can also
see an example in this thread: http://tinyurl.com/ynm8ho . I also built a
multi-fx Pluggo, or pair of Pluggo's - one for fx, the other for modulation
- based on this, which is at www.wildfrontear.co.uk/The Mods.sit (warning,
it's some time since I looked at it and it may well be buggy)
It works well in terms of routing flexibility, but as an interface it's
leave a to to be desired - it's not easy to immediately see what is routed
to what, so I would be interested to see what you come up with,
Cheers
Roger

also, have a look at the matrixBP in the UBC Toolbox:
