I must developpe a Max/msp patch existing in PD.

Does somebody know if there is a software which makes it possible to convert a file PD into max/msp?

PD has an option in its file menu that allows you to save the
file as a Max file. Unfortunately, converted files are not
formatted very well. At times taking almost as much time to fix
as building the patch from scratch in Max.

There is also a compatibility library named cyclone.

Hi,
In what version of PD do I find the save as max file option?
Would like to give it a go on some patches from a course I did last year but cant find it in the latest extended release for mac os x.

Well on XP when you open a patch you say "Save As...",
then under file type, select ".pat".

That's for the other way around...

But I have some PD abhaXions in my library, its very far from complete
though, but yiu might get the idea to fill the gaps yourself...

You have to make it working probably always by hand. Do not expect a Pd
patch would work immediatly if you just copied it...

Hello
I'm new here but I have a problem like this old post...
I think there is some differences between pd values and max, is that right ? specially in *~ object
or in lop~ and lores~ ???
that make the sound of patches completely different.
Thanks

Hey

Is there not a website or pdf that has the pd terms and object names and what they are in max?

Really struggling to convert some of Andy Farnell's patches in his book without having PD

Any help is appreciated
