I recently bought a yamaha cs15 and korg 911x - both use Hz/volt rather than Oct/volt CV.

I have one device (Novation Basstation) that can output the correct CV but since the yamaha has two oscilators I'd ideally like to have another two Hz/volt cv outputs. I do have a kenton midi to CV which only operates at Roland Voltages (Oct/volt) though.

However I thought I may be able to tune to the correct voltage by using Max/MSP to output midi note and pitchshift data which gets output via a oct/volt device (kenton) but corresponds to notes in a hz/volt scale.

Can anyone give me an idea how to start calibrating for this idea.

That doesn't help at all - I know these objects exist, they may be a small part of the solution but I'm more interested in the "dot dot dot". 

Unfortunately I don't get as much time as I'd like to experiment and problem solve with Max, with this I'm more interested in the actual process and if anyone has done something similar.

To my knowledge mtof and ftom have nothing to do with pitch bend midi data which I think gets sent in a separate byte and are 14 bit.

I think I should be able to send this data to my Kenton which "thinks" its sending to a Roland but in fact plays in tune on a yamaha/korg. 

I could use trial and error and do a listening test to find the notes - even better maybe there is some sort of conversion formula so that I could still use the pitch bend rather than simply having whole semi-tones.

Has anyone done something similar to give me a good starting point.

Yet, the answer could not have been more complete. Notice by the way that Roman's message was updated. Did he decide to remove the patch, or add the dots...

i updated the "&", which had originally been a "/".

That is about as comprehensive as can be without actually supplying the synths themselves.
