Converting the wii remotes accelerometer to displacement.
Hi,
I am a final year student at the University of Huddersfield and am designing a software that will allow the me to control music effects via a wii remote. e.g. filters, reverbs ect. I am fairly new to Max MSP and am struggling to implement the acceleration to displacement formula into my patch.
Has anybody got any ideas?

here's a little something I wrote when using the magic trackpad to control gui elements:
This simply translates acceleration data (i.e. a continuous negative, 0, positive stream of data) into increments and decrements, which is customizable to be as sensitive as desirable.
Unfortunately I can't seem to get this to work with my wii controller.
