Convolution Engine

Here is a free convolution engine that you can try and compare the sounds it makes to my sample;

The sound has gotten even better, and soon we will have an algorithm to produce this sound without all of the hex editing done by hand, and noise removal.

Tell me what you think of this cut please! And I'm interested in finding out where I can get good sound effects that I can use with vocoders and convolution engines. Thanks. Celemony seems like a good option, but I'm interested in cool effects as well.

Okay I have Max installed and opened up the pfft tutorial. But every time I load it up Max crashes. What's the deal? Did I download the fake version?

It isn't crashing as of now. It seemed to be just one of my sound files caused the software to crash, and I don't know why.

But I've opened up both the pfft~ tutorial and Fun FFT example, and can't get anywhere with them. Is there anyway someone on the forums could help me get started with Max? I have specific goals in mind, and don't see how I'm going to meet them in 30 days without a little help.

These examples don't mix two sound files I can open, and I'm not sure how to change that. I'm not even happy with the sounds they do make.
