evreytime max is lauched a folder "coreMIDI.framework" is opening on the dock and is not responding (highlighted in red in th "force to quit window

i tried to play some notes (makenote + pgmin to play ≠ instr.)

(my old vrsion of sibelius (3) could not access to the AU dlsynth

is there a relation with that folder- though i found out this version of sibelius is not compatible with the os)

I have the same problem. It has just surfaced within the last few weeks. The only way I can resolve it is to wait for the max patch to load, and then right click on the CoreMIDI.framework folder in the dock, and Force Quit. (I suppose it can be done from the force quit window just as effectively, but the right click method is quicker)

I would also appreciate any help for this issue. It it quite annoying. The CoreMIDI.framework folder is not accessable, and obviously not really needed, because force quitting it does not hinder the operation of Max/MSP.

It looks like you've got some Digidesign stuff installed, probably a ProTools LE version. I used to have the same problems when I installed my Mbox and I removed some files in Macintsoh HD/Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers. Unfortunately, I don't remember which ones. If you don't use the MIDI on your Digi interface, you can trash everything Digi-related in that folder.

it works fine untill now

I have this same problem and have for a while.

I thought it wasn't an issue but my MIDI is delayed and often unreliable.

Unfortunately my Midi Driver folder is already empty so I do not know what to do!

I seen to have no Midi plugins so I do not know why it is going crazy
