CPU spike in presentation mode
I have a large patch in which I have several synth manipulating video in Jitter. Everything was working fine, but once I added a live.step my patch began to lag when scrolling. The main problem is when I which over to presentation mode the CPU spikes and the sound begins to crackle. In patcher mode I don't have that problem. I have tried all the trick with the DSP controls, getting rid of any un-needed number box, and whatever suggestion I can find. But none really address the spike in CPU during presentation mode
I'm all out of ideas and I would love to some from more experienced users. (also sorry about the spelling I'm extremely dyslexic.) Thanks
BUMP!!! same problem but with audio... looking at the activity monitor when I flick into presentation mode I jump from 20-30% CPU straight into the 80% which messes with anything I have working within the signal domain (which like Aornery I have been as minimal as I can possibly be)... however everything runs smooth out of presentation mode....
Where there any suggestions??
Hey man, just found a solution that fixed my problem,... dont totally understand what this does exactly but...
Go to Preferences > Select the "All" drop down tab > find the "Scheduler" section > tick the "Overdrive" option.
It worked for me but if it doesn't for you maybe you can mess with some settings in that area ("Scheduler").
Ps, it hasn't solved the CPU issue but everything sounds as it should,.. good luck!
