CV tools for audio signals
Hey folks,
I recently installed Ableton's CV Tools so that I can interact with my modular hardware from Ableton/Max. It basically allows you to create oscillators on a Live track and send it out as a eurorack CV signal, out one of my audio output channels.
But what I don't see is a way to send an audio signal out one of these CV tools. Does anyone know of a way to do this? I think the eurorack uses a signal that is -5V and 5V. Is this simply a matter of turning up the gain on an audio signal I send out to my modular?
i'm no expert, but found some interesting reading on the subject, in case it helps:

sure, you use the normal audio channels just as with music signal, too - and you need to use a DC-coupled audio interface.
the way back in works likewise.
sending audio back in is important for frequency calibration...
I see, thanks for the clarification. I think I may look in to an Expert Sleepers module.
or A-119 for a single signal. (pro line level to 10Vpp)
