Cycling and open source?

    Hi,
i know, maybe an odd question, but:
are the (cycling 74) "standard library" externals and the MSP ones open source? I mean is there any chance to get the source code of just the externals?
and... actually, it's more worrying this question can ever be odd
I am aware of Pure Data, using it over 2 years now. But with Max, the productivity grows enourmously because of its hardly beatable load of equipment.
Maybe some could point me out to some open source external libraries... searching maxobjects.com doesnt give too much, open source category is not. Percolate is estimable!
    Thanx for your help.
    Heck

None of the standard "vanilla" Max/MSP/Jitter externals are open-sourced, although there are a couple of them (the plus object) contained as a part of the SDK.
Third-party objects are quite another matter; including the source code a decisions that the developers themselves make on a case-by-case basis. Quite a number of them are open source besides the PeRColate stuff, and you may find them useful.
