I'm very new to Max, but I'm trying to convert datasets into signals which can trigger and modulate synths and samplers etc. Any advise on how I can do this?

I've found some example patches which convert lists stored in the coll object to simple midi patterns using makenote, and was hoping I could reroute these to some BEAP devices but it didn't seem to work.
