Why does the following code not trigger the send message to alarm1?

date-time-with-parameterized-alarm-id-not-working

I can get the alarm to work with hard coded alarm id, but not parameterized alarm id.

I'm afraid this way of symbol composition works only in puredata. So alarm$i7 is a symbol 'alarm$i7'. No substitution.
