DBAP for windows and Max8

Francois Weber's icon

Hi,
I'm looking for a version of DBAP for windows.
jamoma is obsolete for windows. is there a free alternative to j.dbap ?
Or maybe someone has already compiled the sources to create a new object ?

thx

Hi
Finally, I found a way out.
Here is the patch and its help file.

Hoping it will be useful to someone...

Thanks for sharing François !
I was missing good old j.dbap too :-)

There's a DBAP mode in spat5.pan, but it's missing rolloff...
As a replacement I used spat5.pan @initwith "/panning/type knn"
playing with /source/1/neighbors/exponent attribute gives me some very similar result.

anyway, it's very cool and useful to have a clean Max patch alternative ; thanks !

Thank you, François!
It's quite fantastic to see a new native DBAP implementation -- and one that is very clean, polished and commented 👏
I'm really looking forward to spending some time with it.

Hi all,
Here is a new version of fxwDBAP.
There is now a 3rd argument that allows to define the number of the source.

Thanks to those who use this abstraction !
