ddg.mono patch, help needed..
Hello,
I noticed in the ddg.mono help-patch (monophonic synth controller for virtual synths) that each time a key is released, ddg.mono outputs the note value again. I copied the patch below with a print object connected to ddg.mono's note output which proves this fact.
Is there a genius on this forum who could modify the patch, or help me modifying the patch so that nothing is outputted when a key is released. This would mean a huge help to me..
thank you! : )
edit
sounds like you're looking for the object "stripnote"?
stripnote is used in combination with velocity. It deletes every zero.
My patch for many reasons works different. I don't use the velocity output (not for this part of the patch).
I just need the note output of ddg.mono stop outputting values when the key is released.
Do you think that's possible?
Possible? That's a silly question when dealing with max ;) Everything's more or less possible.
if the key is released then *velocity* is zero.
Cross over the pitch and velocity lines, go into a [gate] - velocities of non-zero will open the gate, zero will close it, blocking out the pitches.
nice :) thanks a lot!! ..wasn't too difficult in the end..
