Determining Decay Time of yafr2
Hi everyone,
I'm currently using yafr2 as the basis for a reverb design prototype but can't figure out how to determine its RT60 accurately within Max. Does anyone have any idea of how to do this?
it seems a bit hard to look at what the reflections, the lowpassfilter, the feedbackloop and the "combine" patch do - i would rather just measure it by sending a spike (or a pulsetrain) through it and see what comes out at the end.
RT60 is an amplitude of 0,001, just look when the amplitude peaks begin to fall under this value and you have the decay time.
Yes, measuring it sounds like the way to go.
