DFG/1394-1e + Good Resolution Camera

Hello,

I am working on a real time video tracking (position, movement) and background subtraction (green Screen). I am using the video-to-firewire converter (DFG/1394-1e) from the imaging source, this converter accept component and/or s-video.

I have been testing the unibrain fire-i camera, cctv camera, but the image quality is not good enough and the range of color is too low for subtracting the background.

I am looking for something similar to a DV camera within a low budget and without any pre-configured parameters (auto-focus, standby mode).

Any advice will be more than welcome.
