DJ patch that shows current waveform playing on track 1 and track 2 (problems)

I wanted a device that displays the waveform of the current song playing in track 1 and track 2 and eventually the current position of the playhead (when we can access the absolute clip position)...
1) Is there any way to get the file path of the current audio clip in a slot? Right now I am relying on the fact that I know the path of all the songs I use (same folder), as well as how I label all of my songs/clips.
2) When I load the current song playing into a buffer so I can display it's waveform, Live stalls...the audio doesn't stutter or anything, but Live's GUI becomes unresponsive for 1-2 seconds which is not good at all.
What is the deal? Loading something into a buffer shouldn't cause such a hang : Here is my patch...
