I was digging around in the Max Api SendsPan device and I noticed that the audio send to live.remote~ is being downsampled. I can only imagine this is done out of efficiency reasons, but i'm a bit surprised that it would work like that.

Is this considered good practice? Is there documentation or reference on the subject maybe?

Indeed this is is a huge perfomance saver (depending on the destination parameter of course....)
