draw waveform?

Is there a native Max object that will perform the function of the [ltotab] object here? Or is there a better way to fill a buffer by drawing?

You don't even need to unpack the output of listfunnel, peek~ will accept a list from listfunnel. It seems like that function of peek~ and the listfunnel object are new as of Max5?

listfunnel has been added to the standard distribution in 4.5 AFAIR.

it is possible in another way i did last year, i cant find the patch at the moment, but basically i would draw a wave in the table object, then use an uzi to scan through it as fast as possible then with the output, it did whatever slight organization/manipulation to the data which was sent into a peek~ object i believe, which was then converted to either a buffer, then a [cycle~ newwave] object. or just straight to the cycle object.

it was rather easy to make, im sure you could do it in a few hours.

i made some cool waveforms with it, like wavefold type triangle waves, square waves, etc. the only thing with it was you had to be 100% accurate with the drawing, or else it would click, or be noisey obviously.

The other option is to use waveform~ in draw mode.
