Hi,
I made a m4l patch to communicate through ethernet with my jitter vj patch. I can start movies through midi notes and I can use ableton live automation curves to drive my video fx in sync with the music. Nice and easy...
What I failed to achieve is to drive the speed of movies through automations curves. I use the frame message of jit.qt.movie and it works well with very short loops but when the movies are longer it goes bad (frame drops). I suspect that's because I can't uptdate the resolution of the curves to the lenght of the new movie but I don't know how to solve the problem.
I hope that's somewhat clear... Here's my m4l module...

It works with time instead of frame. Don't know why but it works !
