dual blackmagic card crash
So I am building a windows 7 64 bit system with the intent of multiple blackmagic decklink cards. I have a decklink studio and a decklink sdi installed in pci express slots. after unsuccessful attempts to sequence grab from the analog breakout on the studio card, i shifted to dx grab which has worked great in the past with intensity cards.
at this point max crashed. I have since uninstalled quicktime, the blackmagic drivers and max and reinstalled them in various logical orders with no success at getting max to launch again. it immediately crashes on launch now. i am going to pull one card but when it was working it was distinguishing them. after that try some intensity cards.
anyone have experience with strange quicktime/direct x issues and multiple decklink cards?
windows 7 ultimate 64bit
12gigddr3 ram
i7 quad core
evga gts250
decklink studio
decklink sdi
reinstalled latest direct x
still no launch
the initial crash i got while in the patch was thrown by quicktime as reported in the problem signature.
the crashes on launch are all just reporting the main max.exe.
quick format
take out one of two cards
fresh copy of windows
fresh max from site
fresh quicktime from apple
install decklink drivers
dx.grab version of sequencegrabber tutorial patch was stable but no feed from card. I was attempting to grab from the single rca composite analog input and it was selected in the blackmagic control panel.
closed the grab device in max
closed max patch
BLUE SCREEN...
max wont launch anymore even if I remove and reinstall.
what did u expect with cards named like that!
;p (sorry couldnt resist)
clean install windows;
install intensity card
install max;
install quicktime;
same behavior as before when trying to grab from intensity. no dx grab stream but stable and qt grab causes blue screen and max.exe corruption

I'm wondering how the story ends ?
I'm looking for a solution to capture 3 HD live feeds to be combine into one ouput.
The black magic quad seems to be the solution... if it works...
Yoann, did you succeed in doing it?
I'm interest in something similar and I'm deciding which is the better video card to buy
Thanks
