does anyone know if there is a way to embed a video from the web into a patch? i know that jit.qt.movie will play .mov files and such but how about youtube? or other sites that stream?

Well... this reply is 11 years late, but the [jweb] object allows you to embed any site through the Inspector tool. Again, I know this is 11 years late, but I'm replying in case anyone else searches for this answer. I stumbled upon this posting by searching for other types of video processing, so who knows if other folks will find their way here. Sorry this is such a late response though...
