Enable / disable Mira frame on iPad
Hi,
I made a little MaxForLive device to control simpler drumpads in Ableton Live drum racks (see attachment). It supports a mira.frame for iPad display. Of course I can have 8 or 16 or more drumpads in my drum rack. This results in showing way to many Mira screen tabs on the iPad.
Has anyone found a way to enable / disable a mira.frame on the iPad, for example using some clever scripting?
Cheers,
Willem.
This sounds like a useful feature. I'll add this to a future version.
Yeah. I got exactly the same problem.
I want to save the automation in a self made max for live instrument for later change. But even if I deactivate the plugin in Ableton Live and open the same plugin in another track, two tabs are open in MIRA and either Live or MIRA crashes most of the times. I'd also like to be able to close tabs in MIRA to avoid this problem.
(I think the problem of the crashes is also caused by the fact, that I use the gyrometer and accelerometer in my max for live instrument. And if more than one tabs are open and active in MIRA the data transmitted get too much -- Live shows something like 300% cpu-usage)
Anybody got a solution for this? Is there a way to deactivate the working of MIRA for a m4l-instrument, without deleting it? And later re-enable it again?
I see the last post is about a year old. Is there already a solution for this? Thanks for letting me know!
