Hi, can someone point me in the direction for creating envelopes, e.g examples or help files.
Thanks

Hi

Depends what you want to use the envelope for.

Have a look at MSP tutorial 7. Use "line~" and "function"

Doesn't the manual do it? There is a thesaurus which points to env,
envi, function, adsr~......... (all with help files)

There is more, but as you didn't even start...
(at least you didn't mention where you maybe got stuck - all crucial
information...)

i need to use envelopes, so im assuming an ADSR, but is there a way to make different sounds, e.g piano, drums etc easier?

is the best way for an ADSR using Function

tl.envexp from tl.objects can be used to create exponentially decaying
envelopes. Unfortunately I have not had the time to recomp+ile the
objects for Universal Binary yet.

Best,
Trond
