error plugcofig doesn't understand "package"

Hi. I'm trying to get plugins to work on a Windows machine with all the lastest installs of c74 software.

I get this message inside of host environment:
error plugcofig doesn't understand "package"

Plugconfig contains this line: #C package ????;

I can't see to find out from the manuals what this line means. I can't find any other reasons as to why my plugins wouldn't work?

Does anyone know anything about this?

thanks. charles

the package line is used to identify different types of plugs on the Mac.
On windows it does nothing.

The reason you are seeing the error is because you are using an incompatible version of Pluggo. Plugins built with MaxMSP 4.6.2 require the Pluggo 3.6.1 runtime, which will be released in the near future.

If you wish to build plugins on windows using the 3.5.4 release of Pluggo, you will need to use MaxMSP 4.5.7 to build them.

Cheers
