Exporting HD video from my Jitter patch
Hello everyone, I am trying to render HD video to disc.. .basically I would like to make a video of my rendering window from my Jitter patch.
I have read this : https://docs.cycling74.com/max5/tutorials/jit-tut/jitterchapter19.html Please correct me if I am wrong: I need jit.gl.asyncred going into [jit.qt.record 1920 × 1080] , right ? … but..i am still confused : (
Could someone please provide a practical example (a small patch) on how to set up jit.qt.record (or the Vizzle recorder) in order to record HD video to disc from my Jitter patch?
Thank you very much. I love you all.

easiest way using jit.world @output_matrix 1
alternative way using gl.asyncread:
Thank you so much Rob, always a great help.
I will try it out.

Amazing Rob, cant believe it was so simply. Works great (used the second example).
Rob, last thing.. what would you recommend in order to take snapshot (hi res pics) of the rendering window?
I know this sounds bad.. but I am currently using the mac screen-grab shortcut when I am full screen.
Thanks you so much

Sounds perfectly legit to me. Been there done that!
Of course you could patch a way to grab a matrix upon button press but why would you make it harder on yourself?
Hi Rob, i hope you good.
I have a noticed a fps problem using the gl.asyncread object in one of my Max For Live patches.
The video runs fine in Max and is synced with Ableton arrangement. When I play both audio and video is all good, but the recorded/rendered video from gl.asyncread is faster, and is around one minute shorter then it should be. I have noticed that my qmetro runs at 60 fps, instead gl.asyncread runs at 30 fps, and the gl.asyncread object ignores any fps arguments i enter. could you please help?
thanks a lot
