In the spirit of Oli Larkin's ol.mousewheel I made 

I have only limited ways to test it on Mac. If you have time for feedback 

- do you see any security warnings other than the quarantine of the external?

- do you feel any lag when making fast wheel scrolls on an dial/slider e.g. in help patcher tab 2?

In the help patcher you will see there's a platform difference of the delta value output. On Mac we already get wheel acceleration multipliers from the system. On Windows, afaik delta output will always be 1 or -1 and we have to measure the time between events to be able to increase the stepsize with faster scrolling of the wheel.
