Hi all! I'm using Max on my Mac to build M4L devices. My "File > New Project" option has been greyed out since I opened my project with different Max instances (one that comes with Ableton Live 11 and another with Ableton Live 10). 

I tried to completely uninstall all instances of Max & Ableton on my machine and re-install Max from Cycling 74 official website, but the "New Project" option is still greyed out. 

Also, I tried to open my original .maxproj project: it can be opened and run normally, but the "Build Collective / Application" and "Export Max for Live Device" options in the project window are also greyed out.

I'd appreciate it very much if anyone can provide help on this issue! Thanks!

The Max versions I've tried are 8.55 and 8.62. For re-installing, I followed the official instruction to 

. The problem still persists. Also, though I followed all the steps in the instructions, when I first opened the newly-installed Max, there was no log-in or licensing required, so I guess it was not technically a clean install.

Problem solved: turned out I didn't log in and authorize my Max after re-installation. When successfully logged in the project-related options got enabled again.
