[fingerpinger] + Magic Trackpad on MBP not working...

Hey,
I love [fingerpinger] and have used it with great success both on a Mini with Magic Trackpad and on a MBP with the built-in pad. Now I want to use the Magic Trackpad on the MBP (ignoring the built-in) and I can't get it to find it. I think I understand what's *supposed* to happen (I give [fingerpinger] a 2), but no matter what number I specify, it always picks-up the internal trackpad only. The system sees the Magic Pad fine and I can use it as per normal. I have the 12-10-2010 version of the external, which I think is the most current.

Any suggestions on this? Seems to be working for others, from some searches I've done...

Thanks,
brian

Anyone? Something else to try on this? Thanks in advance...

Try repairing your permissions. It wasn't recognizing any of my trackpads (internal or external) and this fixed it.

Thanks...But the problem now seems to be that Max doesn't see the external. It is definitely in the Max path, and seems to be latest version. The errors posted to Max window are attached. The object itself turns red, similar to when Max can't find an external, but the error message is a little different. This is post-permissions repair.

Any clues?
Thanks,
Brian

probably it's 32 bits only object, and you're using max 64 bits. To us emax in 32 bits, show informations on max app icon, check 'open in 32 bits'.
