I am looking on getting flash and max to talk to one another, i have had a look at a few things such as 'flash server' (which seems to be outdated now?) and FLOSC (which i cannot find to much useful data on).

Anyone got experience with Flash and Max and these externals? and any suggestions which to use or a better alternative?

The externals are not available on the web site, you can find them attached.

I've create an AS3 class to communicate with max (see exemples/as3 folder in the zip)

I'm gonna check it out tonight, I might have to message you later if i get stuck!!

I have finally got round to testing the [flashserver] external,

i must admit i'm struggling a little, I'm really new to flash so i might be stuck on something basic,

I have had a little look at the examples and tried to get them to talk to one another with no success, i cant even figure out how to get the sliders to lock so i can move them :p

If you have chance could you talk me through it ?

once i get the data in to max i should be fine !!
