floating transparent window

I've made a floating transparent window that doesn't float! The window
doesn't float when the title is showing either. Can someone tell me what
I'm doing wrong? I've also forgotten how to send a message to thispatcher
to close a window and can't find it in the documentation. anyone?

It is floating here (Max503 under OSX53) but you should remove the
toolbar.

wclose although I can't find anything in Max5.0.3's documentation
about this message

Well, its kind of floating for me, but gets hidden behind other windows and
doesn't stay in the front. Am i right in thinking it should remain in the
front? It used to in max 4.

I have removed the toolbar here, but in pasting the patch to the forum it
automatically appears again. I don't know what command to issue to get rid
of it other than in the patcher inspector. I tried 'toolbar 0' but it
didn't work the way 'presentation 1' works...

I'm using Mac 10.4.11 and Max502 - which I see you have updated - I hadn't
realised that the new version had been released.

thanks

It seems that when you use notitle, then it is not really floating
anymore. But this behavior is the same with Max4.

Not does toolbarvisble 0...

I know 503 is released because Zip wrote about it earlier today, but I
don't think there was any official announcement.

Good luck...
