Framerate question
Hey all,
if I have a bunch of video shot @ 24fps as opposed to the standard 29.97 fps, should I be changing anything in my jit.qt.movie set-up?
My video files run fine as is, but the interlacing seems to be exaggerated when played in MAX, which someone suggested could be due to MAX trying to play it at 29.97. does this sound plausible?
thx.
If I have correctly understood a question you can regulate fps by means of object of the [metro] or [qmetro], its attribute - updating time in milliseconds, accordingly 1000/necessary fps = necessary parametre.
I am sorry for the English.
I don't think running the metro faster/slower is going to make any
difference. If you're seeing interlacing artifacts, try setting the
flags deinterlace 1 and highquality 1 in jit.qt.movie
there's a fair amount in the forums/archives already about
deinterlacing and qt.movie/qt.grab, try a search to see what comes up.
