Fricative sounds with bandpass filters

Hey everyone. Can anyone recommend an object to connect to 4 bandpass filters in order to generate fricative sounds in Max/MSP? I am trying to figure out how to program a patch for vocal synthesis and I have the vowel sounds but I don't know which object would be the best in order to get any consonant sounds, for instance the -t- or -s-
Any help much appreciated!

I thought someone would have leapt on this sooner; I guess as fricatives are so different they're difficult to model, but I would start with two different noise sources, one each for the voiced and unvoiced noise, such as [pink~] and a burst of [rand~], enveloped and passed through a [reson~]. Pure guesswork I'm afraid

for testing out vocals filters a cklick or an impulse oscillator will be of much help, in max you can use [click~] and [train~], and you will probably have to *10 the gain of them, regardless if you are sending it to fffb/reson or biquads.

when you hit the border with train~ at higher frequencies, use a spike waveform inside cycle~ instead, which interpolates.
