i`m trying to build a patch which should always sit in a drum rack chain (on every) right before a simpler device.

i know how to get the path when i write it like this: live_set tracks # devices # chains # devices... .. and further like this. but this seems so complicated + you always have to observe everything.

what i want should actually be very simple: always control parameter x + y +z of the device right next to it.

in the end max don`t even need to care at all what kind of device there is. it just needs to bind (or at least try) to parameter x + y of the neighbour dev.
