My apologies if this is a dumb question.  I have decades of experience with max, and zero experience of max4live....

I'd like to know when and where in a clip live is playing and use that info in max.  I can see needing the information a few different ways...

One...  Whenever a clip with a specific name is playing in Live I'd like to receive the timecode in some format in max.

Two... Whenever a clip is playing in a specified track and/or slot in live.

Is this something I have to make a Max4Live plugin for, or is it easier?
