Global snap to grid feature request

Often when I copy and paste groups of objects, and continue to patch them with the snap to grid option enabled, I find myself with a patch where objects are partially aligned on the grid and others not, because I didn't align them right after pasting

Instead of cleaning up the patch object by object, it would be very helpful to have some sort of global snap to grid action. Select all object -> snap to grid.

Or alternatively snap to grid could be automatically applied when you paste the objects. That would be even more convenient I guess.

Adding to that last suggestion. I realized that this might be a bit strange when you copied objects from a non-aligned patch or one with different grid settings, because it would alter the layout on paste.

I think a workaround could be to use one object of the group (the top one for example) as the snap reference and move all other object with the offset it takes to align the reference to the target grid. That way at least when copy-pasting around your own patches (with same grid settings) things stay aligned always.
