I'm planning to use two Blackmagic UltraStudio Express to grab two 1080p video sources from SDI, mix them, while beeing able to record one source unto disc. The computer would be :

Mac Pro, 3.5GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 processor

Dual AMD FirePro D500 with 3GB GDDR5 VRAM each

1st question : Is it possible to access two instances of UltraStudio grabbers simultaniously ?

2nd question : Has anyone ever done something like this ? Will I be experiencing huge latency ? I assume not, since there is no A-D convertion involved...
