grouping object positions and relate them window size

is it possible to group objects and handle their position by just handling the group position? for instance to have the gui centered after window maximize etc.

Yes, all possible in vanilla max by:
- assigning scripting names
- sending messages to thispatcher
If the group is static and unchanging, then if possible, you could put all those objects in a bpatcher. That way, you would only have to reposition one object.
