I've recently upgrated to an M-series mac, Ableton 12 and Max 9.    I remember 23 years on max I feel so old!  

My externals from a few years ago are pretty much dead.   Does anyone have a guide to keeping them up to date?   Right now xcode says max-external -> my mac (rosetta)

Hi Matt, the only guide (I think?) is the video on the C74 youtube channel on using the 8.2 SDK (by Isabel). It's pretty straight forward though, you just have to initialize the sdk differently and use cmake to generate your xcode files.
