Hap engine no sound Windows 10
Hi everyone,
I'm building a simple jitter player for a multiscreen installation, picking parts from tutorials and examples.
I'd like to rely on Hap engine because I'm going to use very big resolution video and Hap seems to handle them very well.
Unfortunately I'm not able to have any sound out from the jit.movie object. I think it's a matter of file encoding.
I'm on windows 10 and the Hap files are Avi encoded in Adobe media encoder with Hap direct show codec.
In AME, setting the hap compression, I actually can not set up any of the audio options for the encoding.
If I open the media in Premiere I can see that it has audio track included and the sound plays back, but in Max I can not hear anything.
Is there a way to encode the files in a correct way to have audio?
Or am I missing something in MAX?
The latest release of Hap engine is reported to work with sound on Windows.
Many thanks in advance.
Igor
This is my patch.
Hi there, solved the issue. It was just a matter of audio settings in the system. Audio is working as expected.
My bad.
