I am completely new to maxmsp and honestly don't know what I'm doing. I had to create a project for class, so I kept it simple and focused on creating different sequences and overlapping them. My patcher is extremely unorganized and I am not sure how to clean it up and I wasn't sure if there was a way to have my counter start on a specific note in my patcher. Any advice is helpful.

Hi, I don't think you're going to get a useful answer unless you provide us with the patch (use Copy Compressed and paste it right here) and phrase the questions very concisely and specifically.
We can probably help you with both cleaning and with counter issues, but it's really hard when the question is so vague. I hope you understand.

+1 Wetterberg. Try making your finished "modules" into patcher objects. This way you can get say 40 objects and put them into one patch. Making abstractions is the easiest way to tidy up a patch. Go to your patch, cmnd+a (select everything) go to edit select copy compressed and then just do paste into a reply here.
