Hi! I hope someone can help me out with a problem i have encontered trying to convert the jitter example files maxtunes 1 & 2 to max for live.

Normally i have not had much trouble converting numbers to live.dial, but on these to templates i have not been able to find the right range. This is for the controls x range, y range, x offset and y offset.

I downloaded a external that tells you the range of ui objects and im getting readings from -2147483648 to +2147483648.

The initial values are meant to be 0 and 0. But when i create a live.dial with this ranges, i dont get the same jitter result as if i start the original Max helpfile.

I have tried scalling the values, setting up intial value to the corresponding live.dials and float and integer where needed.

But as stated before i do not get the same default jitter image as if i open the orginal file.

Hope some one can point me to the right direction.

yeah, post the patch you are working on with some comments indicating your problem

it looks like you just posted the example patch, and some unrelated osc-routing patch.

i'm not really sure what you're asking for help on. post the patch that shows the work you've done in converting to a live device, with some comments as to what's not working for you.

Unfortunately im having trouble attaching the copy compressed file, im on chrome on mac.

your parameter values are entirely different from the example patch.
