I'm working on an interactive installation where a turnstile is equipped with a sensor outputting its absolute position in the range [0. 1.].

One thing I'm struggling with is the attempt to make it act as a vinyl deck. Attached is a simple patch illustrating my idea that contains a simulation of the physical turnstile.

At least two things could be currently improved :

2. The ability to "densify" the audio file across the turnstile position. In other terms, to get smaller movements having a more drastic effect. The resolution of the encoder will be 360 steps.
