Help with my audio gate

Scotty220's icon

Hi,

I've attempted to create a gate but I think its wrong. I've made it using a switch but I don't know how to get the audio signal out of the switch. Hopefully the patch will make sense of what I mean. If I have gone about this wrongly how else could I make an audio gate?

Cheers

Sorry just one more thing,

Is there a way of using an envelope to soften attack and decay on the gate? At the moment its kicking in a bit quick and cutting out a bit fast.

Look into line~, or maybe adsr~ to create an envelope, and use
something like *~ as your gain cell.
