HId device detected under Mountain Lion, undetected under Yosemite

Hello,

I have a Saitek P990 gamepad which is correctly detected under MacOS X 10.8 without any driver installation. However on another Mac running MacOS X 10.10 the gamepad is not detected.

Is there any software I should install to make Yosemite detect such a basic gamepad?

Thank you in advance.

When looking at System Info, the gamepad is listed as a USB device so why doesn't Max see it?

In case You have USB overdrive or similar tool installed, uninstall it on yosemite.

Is it a kind of software which is supposed to be factory installed or something I would have installed myself ?

USB Overdrive is commercial app, adds some aid in dealing
with USB Devices. It has been reported that it's presence
makes some Saitek Joysticks undetected on Yosemite.
