how do I make a horizontal slider LOOK like a horizontal slider?
HI all,
I've added a slider to my Max5 patcher. I then went into the inspector and set it to be a horizontal slider. The slider now has a black line running its length vertically that moves left to right (the thing inside the slider that lets you see where it's set to), so it's a horizontal slider....however, it's still looks like a vertical slider...that is, it's long and tall. I can't find anything other than the 'horizontal' setting in the inspector to control this...no mention on the doc page. I can't seem to get ahold of it graphically with the mouse and reshape it....so how do I reshape this bad boy so that it looks like it's lying down, not standing up?!?!?!
Thanks,
keith
like this? when it is wider than it is tall, its orientation will be horizontal, and when it is taller than it is wide, its orientation will be vertical.
Should just be able to drag to resize using the bottom-right corner......or adjust its patching rectangle in the inspector. The 3rd value needs to be larger than the 4th for it to be horizontal.
Thanks all. I wasn't groking that I could get to the resizing controls at the bottom right hand corner. I knew it was going to be something stupid!!!
