How is exactly jit.release~ mapping matrix content to audio signals?

Hello ,

I need understand how exactly is jit.release~ mapping matrix content to audio
in this patch .I got many questions and I did not find answers on the reference or help file :

1) Is jit.release~ mapping 0. to low frequencies and 1. to high frequencies?
Or the frequencies we listen depend on the matrix dimension, so we hear the number of a cell? How exactly is it working?
2) What is its range of frequencies of jit.release~?
3) Is it jit.release~ monophonic, or polyphonic ?
4) Is it "chromatic" ? or ....just a continuous signal ?

I really would like to know how it works in order to preview the "sounds"
that I will get from jit.release~
(I would like an external anagogic synth to play what jit.release~ is playing).
